Our fifth pop-up, The Final Drop, at Public Works Nightclub, on Saturday, January 10. We ended our pop-up series with a BANG, bringing together 53 Beat Droppers for one hell of a fun hour of movement. Lily started off the work with energy by literally instructing from on top of the speakers, followed by Sarah transitioning us into a DnD-fueled workout. Finally, Robin brought us back to earth with a calming yoga flow. The Bay’s best DJ duo Jeff Straw and Major Trouble (remember the name) brought sounds that made dumbbells feel smart, made limbs move strong, and made head-bopping its own workout. A post-workout mobile sauna from @wannasauna never hurt nobody!!

The Final Drop

Our fourth pop-up, The Disco Drop, at Paname Nightclub, on Sunday, December 14. We went full disco inside the Parisian-inspired Paname, where 14 Beat Droppers moved in rhythm beneath a glowing laser canopy. Sarah warmed the class up with a heating Pilates workout to the classic disco house of local disco aficionado US Grant. Robin slowed the disco ball down with a smooth yoga flow, all to the soothing saxophone sounds of local legend Jeff Straw. For the first time, we worked out to live DJs and saxophone beneath a sky of lasers.

The Disco Drop

Our third pop-up, The Loud Drop, at Reverb Nightclub, on Sunday, November 23. The Loud Drop shook the room with Reverb’s massive sound system and lit up 19 Beat Droppers with pure rave energy that felt like a sunrise set at a festival. Lily started class off with a tough Pulsewave Pilates workout to the banging tech house of Zoë. Attendees cooled down with a rhythmic yoga flow led by Robin, all to the deep and progressive house vibe set by Agapē (which was recorded; Soundcloud link can be found on Insta saved stories). Nothing beats moving together when the bass is that big.

The Loud Drop

Our second pop-up, The Silent Drop, at the Marina Green Triangle Park, on Sunday, October 26. It was a silent disco blast that left a loud impact on 37 Beat Droppers. It was a tough tone-sculpting Low Frequency Flow Yoga led by Sarah followed by Pulsewave Pilates led by Lily, all to a melodic, progressive, and tech house soundtrack by Dyligent. Can’t pass up an amazing rhythmic workout with views of Golden Gate Bridge.

The Silent Drop

Our first-ever pop-up, The First Drop, at The Great Northern, on Sunday, October 12. It was a high-energy fusion of Pulsewave Pilates led by Lily and Low Frequency Flow Yoga led by Robin, and powered by a live DJ tech house set from Baer & a downtempo set from Michael Anthony Levitt, for 38 of our Beat Dropper attendees.
